Welcome to the online appointment service system of the British High Commission in New Delhi.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: EXTENDING A CURRENT BRITISH PASSPORT

If your existing British passport has recently expired or is close to expiring you can apply for it to be extended for 12 months.
Please check the guidanceto see whether you are eligible to apply for a passport extension.
This service is available at our New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Goa offices.
You will not be charged for this service.
The service is by appointment only. To book an appointment please phone the office
nearest to you and select the ‘consular services’ option or
contact our Consular section on +91 (11) 2419 2100 (option 2).
Appointments cannot be made through clickbook for these services.

We provide limited Documentary services by appointment. We accept payments by Visa and Mastercard credit, debit cards, cash and demand drafts.

We do not deal with UK visa/passport enquiries. It is not possible to book appointments to discuss UK visa/passport matters.

If you’re the parent or guardian of a child living overseas that needs to travel urgently, you can apply for an emergency travel document for your child instead of a new or renewed passport.
